Rajinikanth watches Kamal Haasan's Dasavatharam

Jun 13, 2008 – As there is no premiere of Dasavatharam in Chennai, Kamal Haasan held a sneak peek of his film for his friends and a few celebrities from the industry on Tuesday evening at Four Frames preview theatre in Chennai. Kamal's mentor, K Balachandar and superstar Rajinikanth was the cynosure of all eyes.

Daughter Sruthi Haasan and her friends were also seen at the theatre. The talented daughter of the legend, is not one to rest on her father's laurels and will soon be seen in Soham Shah's Luck, opposite Aamir Khan's nephew
Imran Khan.

Among those present were Surya and a few other close friends of the actor. Meanwhile, due to the hype and hoopla surrounding the film, there has been brisk booking in all the 17 screens in Chennai.

March - Tamil Movie Dasavatharam's audio launch

Dasavatharam' is a high budget film starring Kamal Haasan, Asin and Mallika Sherawat in the lead roles. Kamal plays ten different roles in the film. The latest buzz in the industry is that the audio launch for the film is expected to take place in the month of March. The chief guest for the launch would be Jackie Chan. The film is produced by Oscar Ravichandran. The producer announced last month that Jackie Chan would be invited as a Chief Guest for the audio launch of the film. Ravichandran's brother Ramesh Babu has gone to Japan to meet Hollywood star. The team is waiting for the return of Ramesh Babu, who is expected to be returning to Chennai this week. Sony has obtained the rights for the songs of ‘Dasavatharam'. It is expected that around two lakhs CD's might be released in the market and the price of each CD will be fixed at Rs. 99.
